MINECRAFT BEDROCK AND JAVA EDITIONS ON RASPBERRY PI 5

The easiest and safest way to get it up and running is:

Purchase a raspberry pi 5 16gb

use PI Imager to format the drive

Install PI OS 64Bit

Boot the PI, and connect it to wifi

Open a terminal:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get full-upgrade
wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Botspot/pi-apps/master/install | bash

Once it installs you can launch Pi Apps

Install Minecraft Prism

Login using your Microsoft account

and you are off and running!


INSTALL JAVA ON RASPBERRY PI 4

This one is quick and easy.  It will allow you to install the latest java version on a Raspberry Pi 4.

Boot to your desktop

Open the Terminal

Type:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install default-jdk

Once the installation is complete, verify it by checking the Java version:
java --version
